Waterway Trip Boats 2020

Listed below are abbreviated details of trip boats operating public trips this year on inland waterways within about 50 miles of Southampton. Many operators offer more trips/options than there is room for in this list, especially on the Thames - visit the listed websites for further details. Most operators also run charter trips where you can have exclusive use of a boat.

This list has been compiled from various websites and is as complete as the website manager can ascertain. Whilst every care has been taken in compiling this list, the Southampton Canal Society cannot accept any liability for errors or omissions in the information herein. It is strongly recommended that checks be made with the operator before travelling any distance. It is also advisable, where possible, to book your ticket(s) beforehand. Many of the operators have online booking facilities on their website for which you may need to make payment by credit or debit card. Unbooked trips may be possible on the day but only if spaces remain untaken.

This list is an updated version of the list that was published on this website last year. The website manager would be glad to receive comments, corrections, updates and additions to this list. It currently features trip boats on the following waterways:

Basingstoke Canal
Chichester Canal
Kennet & Avon Canal
River Thames
River Wey
Wey & Arun Canal
Wilts & Berks Canal
