Society Meetings and Events

Our meetings are normally held on the first Thursday of each month at 7.45pm. These meetings are open to all - non-members are welcome with no admission charges (except for special events). Tea and coffee are available at the interval and a raffle is held to help defray costs.

We usually assemble for our monthly meetings at Chilworth Village (or Parish) Hall, Chilworth Road, Chilworth, Southampton, SO16 7JZ. (OS Map Ref: SU410184). This hall is to the north of Southampton, lying just off the A27 Bassett to Romsey road next to the Chilworth Arms (formerly called the Clump Inn). A separate page gives maps and directions to the hall.

Further details of any Society meeting / event may be obtained from the society’s secretary.

Details of other waterway related meetings and events within approximately 50 miles of Southampton may be found on the Waterway Events page.

An index of Society meetings held since 1990 can be found in our Meeting Index with links to reports in the Newsletter about them.
